Robert Half Technology, an IT staffing firm, projects that nine new occupations will for the first time have starting salaries averaging, on the high end of the range, in six figures:

• Data Modeler, $103,000;
• Network Security Administrator, $103,000;
• Systems Security Administrator, $103,500;
• Data Security Analyst, $104,000;
• Data Warehouse Analysts, $104,250;
• Software Engineer, $104,500.
